12568-015.1 Bissell Point WWTF Influent Pump Station VFD Replacement

A general description of the Work is replacement of three variable frequency drives (VFDs) and the associated 4160V conductors from the MCLU’s to the VFDs and motors in the Influent Pump Station at the Bissell Point Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF). The VFDs are air cooled and rated 1,750 horsepower (hp) and 4,160 volt and are located on the grade level of the building. Existing 480V auxiliary power feeds and control wires will be re-used. This project also includes the replacement of the VFD ductwork systems that are configured to exhaust the heat generated from the drives to the building exterior when outdoor ambient temperature is above the temperature set-point (warm weathered months). When the temperature set-point is not met (cold weathered months), heat generated from the drives is recirculated within the building.
